{"id":348,"date":"2011-11-30T20:24:39","date_gmt":"2011-11-30T20:24:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/parrybaysheepfarm.com\/wordpress\/?p=348"},"modified":"2011-11-30T20:24:39","modified_gmt":"2011-11-30T20:24:39","slug":"kogies-chops-chutney","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/parrybaysheepfarm.com\/wordpress\/2011\/kogies-chops-chutney\/","title":{"rendered":"Kogie&#8217;s Chops Chutney"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is another great recipe sent in from Kogie.<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<br \/>\n6-8 Loin lamb chops<br \/>\n2 tablespoons oil<br \/>\n1 large onion, sliced<br \/>\n8-10 fresh tomatoes ground and blended in liquidizer (one can use half fresh and half canned tomatoes)<br \/>\n1tsp salt<br \/>\n1.5 \u2013 2 tsp masala (curry powder)<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp coriander powder<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp jeera powder<br \/>\n\u00bd tsp tumeric powder<br \/>\nfresh cilantro<\/p>\n<p>Method:<br \/>\n1. Rinse chops. Pat dry and add all the dry spices.<br \/>\n2. Mix well. In a large skillet, add oil, fry the marinated chops for about 10 min a side \u2013 chops must be browned.<br \/>\n3. Add sliced onions, cook for a few minutes, and stir a couple of times.<br \/>\n4. When onion starts to brown, add tomatoes. Stir until it comes to a thick chutney \u2013 usually for about 15 \u2013 20 min.<br \/>\n5. Garnish with chopped cilantro.<br \/>\n6.
